Terms of Service
Business 4.0 Pty Ltd
Effective date: 10 September 2026
1. About SignalStamp and these terms
SignalStamp is operated by Business 4.0 Pty Ltd (ABN 87 645 316 696), based in Tasmania, Australia and referred to in these terms as we, us or our.
These terms describe the permitted use of the SignalStamp website at signalstamp.com.au, its public information and the free AI Quick Check and Privacy Quick Check linked from the website. Please read them before using those services. Where acceptance is required for a service, we will present the relevant terms before you submit or register.
Paid subscriptions and access to an organisation’s assessment workspace require separate service terms covering the selected plan. These website terms do not set subscription fees, renewals, cancellation rights or the handling of customer data on termination. Any service terms expressly accepted for a particular service govern that service if they conflict with these website terms, subject to applicable law.
2. What SignalStamp provides
SignalStamp helps organisations review governance, risk and compliance practices, record supporting evidence, assign follow-up work and report progress. Available assessment content, reporting and KPI features depend on the service and plan selected.
Website guidance and Quick Check results provide general information based on the content version and information supplied. They are not legal advice, an independent audit, certification or a determination that an organisation complies with a law or standard. A maturity result is not a risk severity rating. Evidence confidence is assessed separately and does not itself verify that a record is accurate or that a practice is effective.
You remain responsible for deciding whether the questions and results suit your organisation’s circumstances, checking the information you provide and deciding what action to take. These responsibilities do not limit our obligations under applicable law.
References to legislation, standards or frameworks identify sources or assessment context. They do not imply that a regulator, standards body or government agency endorses or certifies SignalStamp. Example results and illustrations are demonstration data unless stated otherwise.
3. Using the website and free checks
You may use the website and free checks for lawful personal or organisational purposes. If you provide information for an organisation, you must have authority to do so.
You must not deliberately interfere with the website, bypass access controls, distribute malicious software, impersonate another person or use the service to obtain information you are not authorised to access. Do not submit material that infringes another person’s rights or is unlawful.
Please provide accurate contact details and information to the best of your knowledge. A work email and certain assessment details are required to receive a Quick Check result. Receiving a result does not require you to agree to marketing.
4. Your information and confidentiality
You retain your rights in the information you provide. You authorise us to use it to operate the requested service, calculate and deliver results, respond to enquiries and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your information to us.
Only provide personal information about others where you have a lawful basis to do so. Do not send passwords, identity documents or confidential assessment evidence through a public enquiry form. Use the appropriate workspace or an agreed support process where more detailed information is needed.
Our Privacy Policy explains personal information handling. It is not a request for blanket consent to unrelated uses of your information.
5. Copyright and permitted use
Copyright in our original website content, assessment materials, designs and software belongs to Business 4.0 Pty Ltd or the relevant rights holder. Third party standards, source materials, software and trade marks remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licences.
You may view and print website material for your own use or internal organisational reference, retaining source acknowledgements and copyright notices. You may share a report supplied to you with people involved in your organisation’s review, subject to any service terms and the rights of people whose information appears in it.
Except where allowed by law or an applicable licence, you must not sell, republish or commercially distribute our assessment content, software or substantial parts of the website without permission. You must not present our material as your own or imply an endorsement that we have not given. Nothing in this clause restricts an exception or permission under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
6. Reports and shared links
When sharing a report or link, check that the recipients are appropriate and that you are authorised to disclose the information. An active report link may be opened by anyone who receives it, including if it is forwarded. It should not be treated as a link restricted to a named recipient unless that restriction is expressly provided.
Where available, expiry and revocation controls can limit future access through a link. They cannot retrieve copies that have already been downloaded or saved. Read-only access prevents changes through that view; it does not prevent a recipient copying what they can see.
7. External services and links
The website links to external information and uses service providers for functions such as hosting, email and spam protection. External websites and services may have their own terms and privacy notices. A link is not an endorsement of all content on the destination website. Our use of a service provider does not remove obligations we have under applicable law.
8. Availability, changes and access restrictions
We aim to keep the website useful and available, but maintenance, faults and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt access. We may update public information and free tools as content and functionality change.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a material breach of these terms or a security threat. Where practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may act immediately where delay would create a security or legal risk. Paid service commitments remain governed by the relevant service terms.
9. Australian Consumer Law and responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
We will exercise reasonable care in providing our services. Subject to rights that cannot be excluded, we do not promise that general website information or a self-assessment result will identify every issue or suit every purpose. Our responsibility for a loss will be assessed under applicable law, including the cause of the loss and each party’s contribution.
10. Questions, disputes and changes to these terms
For questions about these terms or a concern about the website, contact Business 4.0 Pty Ltd at admin@signalstamp.com or through signalstamp.com.au/contact. Please describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking so we can investigate and respond.
We may revise these terms by publishing an updated version and effective date. Revisions apply prospectively. They do not remove accrued rights or retrospectively change an agreement already accepted. If a change requires your agreement, we will seek it through the relevant service process.
These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia. The courts of Tasmania have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not prevent you from using a court, tribunal or complaint process available to you under applicable law.
